Bio

Dr. Bos works as a clinician and researcher in the intensive care unit of Amsterdam UMC. He has an appointment as associate professor at the University of Amsterdam. Currently, he co-chairs the laboratory of experimental intensive care and anesthesiology (LEICA). He leads a group of 10 PhD students and a post-doctoral researcher, they focus their research on precision medicine approaches for acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) and pneumonia. Dr Bos’s research is supported by the European Union, European Respiratory Society, ZonMW and the Dutch Lung Foundation (Longfonds). On behalf of PANTHER he co-chairs the Clinical Research Collaboration (CRC) at the European Respiratory Society (PANTHER – Precision medicine Adaptive Network platform Trial in Hypoxemic acutE respiratory failuRe - ERS - European Respiratory Society (ersnet.org)
