Bio

John Fraser is the Director of the Critical Care Research Group, The Prince Charles Hospital, having founded the Group in 2004.  CCRG’s purpose is dedicated to improving outcomes for critically ill patients through global research. 

John is also the Director of the Intensive Care Unit, St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital.  He undertook his training in Glasgow, Scotland and later in Queensland, Australia.  John is the Co-President of the International ECMO Network.  His major interests are mechanical support and end-stage cardiac respiratory treatment.
