Ms Janis Best-Lane

Janis is a Senior Clinical Trial Manager based at Imperial College London and works closely with the Imperial Clinical Trials Unit (ICTU). Janis specialises in critical care research and manages the Critical Care portfolio of trials within ICTU. Janis has worked within clinical trials at Imperial for over 10 years and has managed a range of trials including: - observational, IMP, blinded, national, international, multi-centre and platform trials such as the REMAP-CAP trial which covers 25 countries and over 14,000 patients, with 150 sites and over 7,000 patients in the UK. Janis manages all aspect of the clinical trial from protocol finalisation, regulatory approval, study set up, recruitment through to study close out.
