Bio

Christopher Andersen is an intensive care specialist and early career researcher based at Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney, and the George Institute for Global Health (UNSW). He has deployed multiple times with the Australian Defence Force and spent two years working as a locum consultant/research fellow at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust. He has a master's degree in clinical trials research and his PhD focused on improving outcome selection in subarachnoid haemorrhage. He collaborates with researchers at The Kirby Institute on the immunology of critical illness and is the principal investigator of the multicentre CI3 Biobank.
