Bio

Anna Heath is a Scientist at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto and leads the Innovative Methods in Paediatric Clinical Trials (IMPaCT) lab. Her research focuses on developing statistical innovations for clinical trial prioritisation and design, particularly focusing on Bayesian methods and decision analysis. She previously worked as a biostatistician for four paediatric clinical trials and her PhD in Statistical Science substantially reduced the computational complexity of research design methods known as Value of Information analyses. She is excited to lead the statistical analysis committee for the PRACTICAL trial.
